Altar Crucifix & Divine Mercy - Sanctuary - Saint Anne (8198)
After the renovation of the Sanctuary and during the week of Divine Mercy Sunday, I captured this image of the newly installed Crucifix at Saint Anne Roman Catholic Parish. This image juxtaposes beautifully the suffering of Jesus on the Cross with the Icon of the Divine Mercy just behind. In this particular image, it appears that Jesus points to His Mercy with His own crucified hand.

Our Lady of Tihaljina - Saint Anne (073437)
Originally from Medjugorje, Our Lady of Tihaljina was a gift to Saint Anne Roman Catholic Parish. She is a replica of the statue from the town of which alleged apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary were seen by visionaries in the late Eighties. Within Saint Anne there are multiple windows from which natural light pours in to the church. Several times a year this phenomena occurs in were the sun lights the loving face of Our Lady, giving her a “life-like” appearance. An interesting fact, each time I photograph this particular image of Our Lady, her expression is never exactly the same twice.

Pietà - Saint Anne (8810)
In 2012 Saint Anne Roman Catholic Parish was blessed to receive a very reverent priest by the name of Fr. Sergio Fita. His love for the Church extended to the love of the Church’s many sacred artworks. Within a few years he was able to bring an amazing addition to Saint Anne’s collection with a replica of the Pietà. The placement of this remarkable statue also provides for amazing natural lighting to pour over it providing a dramatic look to one of the most endearing images of the church.

Red Mountain & The Salt River (9262)
I captured this scene while taking a trip out to Saguaro Lake one day. Being a native of Arizona, the site of Red Mountain is quite familiar, but seeing this image with the colors of the mountain and the reflection on the river water, I found it irresistible and had to snap the shot. Warm desert mountains over cool running water, always great to see.
